The first clean
Having collected the car a couple of weeks ago and already having added 300 wet and dirty miles, it was time for a clean before the initial 'introduction' video...
The car was then washed using a bucket with grit guard, and also two microfibre washing mitts, working from top to bottom in this instance, and always rinsing the mitt of debris before washing the next panel.
Once the car was washed I set about drying it with my Metro-Vac Master Blaster... This is an 8hp blower, which puts out such a force that it simply 'blow dries' the car dry. After a few minutes of use the unit warms up, so the air coming out of it is warm too, making the drying process even faster. It's great for not only the large panels, but wheels, hard to reach grille sections and so on... Another great benefit is you're not touching the metal, so this minimises any chances of scratching or scuffing the bodywork.
I then gave the interior a quick clean out, and finished off the outside of the windows with some rain-x glass treatment and cleaner. This is an all in one product that works extremely well.
Now time for the 'intro' video... Please see the next post...

Some Inital Pics
It's been a week and a few days after collecting the car, and with the weather not really being ideal for the last week - I've finally managed to grab a few initial pictures of the car...

Now that winter solstice is out of the way, the evenings will be getting lighter allowing for more pics, blog posts and I can certainly see plenty of video's coming up!
Merry Christmas to everyone and a Happy New Year!

Something Arrived in my Garage
After a fairly long, cold, wet day, something grey, black and with a touch of 'cream' and 'carbon' found itself nestled in my garage.
Hopefully tomorrow will be dry, with a fair amount of daylight so I can take some better pictures and use it!
